I want to understand a little more about phytoestrogen. In an article, Health Effects of Phytoestrogens, Branca and Lorenzetti (2005) discuss that phytoestrogen is actually good for several cancers, symptoms, and diseases. Unrelated to this, isn't GMO's used to understand research behind major diseases and illness? Especially in the case of diabetes, doesn't scientists use bacteria and yeast to make and manufacture insulin? Is this bad because it's GMO? Thanks for your thoughts and help.
