Easy to make sunscreen bars. Kids love them!
Print Recipe
Ingredients
1/2
cup
coconut oil
1/2
cup
shea butter
1/2
cup
beeswax
60
drops
Lavender Essential Oil for scent
1
tbsp
zinc oxide powder
Instructions
Melt coconut oil, beeswax and shea butter in a double boiler. (If you don't have a double boiler, you can put a pyrex measuring glass in a pan of boiling water).
Let cool a little bit and add essential oils and zinc.
Stir well.
Pour into
molds
and refrigerate.
When solid, remove from molds and put in a container.
Keep in fridge until ready to use.
These do melt, so when I take them on the go, I like to put them in a
4 ounce mason jar
or ziploc bag.
