Homemade Almond Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 4 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Place 1 cup of almonds in a mason jar or bowl and cover with water. Soak for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Drain almonds.
  • Place the almonds in a blender or Vitamix.
  • Add 4 cups of water.
  • Blend for 2 minutes or so.
  • Strain the nut milk through a nut milk bag or cheese cloth.
  • Squeeze all of the milk through the bag.
  • Store in the fridge!

Notes

Homemade Nut Milk should last 3-5 days in the refrigerator. I use a cup at a time for my smoothie, so this amount is perfect for me!
