As you know, we are big fans of essential oils here at Oh Lardy! One of the biggest surprises that I found when starting to use essential oils is that they have an amazing ability to affect how we feel! Are you skeptical about that? If so, think of Lavender. When I ask people to tell me what they know about Lavender, almost EVERYONE says it is so calming and relaxing. This is because they have experienced Lavender in that way before.
I love using essential oils for calming. And I use calming oils in many different applications! I like to use it on feet at bedtime which is great for winding down for a restful night's sleep. I like to use it on my kids when they get home from school to help their mind's relax and get ready to do their homework. I like to use it on them when they are bouncing off the walls, for obvious reasons! Personally I like to use it when I feel like my brain is moving a million miles a minute and I need some help with focus so that I can relax and get work done.
This recipe is such an easy one to make! Two essential oils and a carrier oil and you are on your way to relaxation town!
