I had completely forgotten about these yummy frozen treats until a couple weekends ago, when I ended up with a wicked case of strep throat.
Yes, strep throat in the summer. Yuck!!!
I was cooped up in bed with a high fever, chills, aches and one of the worst sore throats I have ever had. All I wanted was ice cold water, ice cream and…frozen grapes!
From my sick bed, I texted my husband ‘Get grapes and freeze them NOW.'
When he came upstairs with my bowl of frozen goodness, I was so happy. I was also kicking myself that I don't make these more often!
My daughter loves eating grapes. I need to start buying double batches of grapes…rinsing and refrigerating one and rinsing and freezing the other!
They make such a nice frozen treat. You can eat them any time, as a snack, a dessert. They are even great to pop into a glass of white wine to keep your wine chilled!
Here's the ‘recipe'…well it's not really a recipe, but you get my drift 😉
