The weather is starting to warm up and it is getting to be time for fun summer cocktails! My friend, Kristyn, turned me on to this concoction, a kombucha cocktail, and it is delicious! This might be my summer 2014 cocktail!
If you are a Real Foodie, you probably have ventured into the world of kombucha!
For those of you unfamiliar, kombucha tea is a fermented sweet tea with a host of beneficial properties (probiotics, anyone?). Kombucha is becoming readily available at most grocery stores now. It is also crazy easy to make your own!
This cocktail involves kombucha, vodka, and some sort of citrus juice as a splash. I hope you enjoy!!
It isn't a set in stone recipe. You can make it as strong or as weak as you like it. Top with your favorite citrus juice or a wedge of lemon! Have fun experimenting with this delicious cocktail!
