Homemade Yogurt 

I think it is fair to say that yogurt is a staple in many homes.  I grew up eating it and now I make it for my family.  People eat yogurt is not only because it’s delicious, but because it offers the benefit of probiotics.  Yogurt contains live cultures (or, ‘probiotics’) that populate the human gut (or intestinal tract) with good bacteria.  We all know that eating live foods or taking a probiotic supplement is good for our gut health, but do we know why?  What do those bugs in our belly actually do?

My family has been enjoying this yogurt plain and topped with Pumpkin Flax Granola from Nature’s Path.  Slightly sweet with the perfect crunch – a breakfast (and snack!) my children ask for!
