  1. Hi Kelly,
I have never used a reed diffuser for essential oils. Do you mix the oils with water?

    1. Nancy! I am actually posting about reed diffusers on Monday!! But in short, you add the essential oils to a base oil. I used sweet almond oil. Olive oil would be too heavy.

  2. What a great list! Lavender is my favorite essential oil – I add it to everything 🙂 I need to get some diffusers to put in my kids’ rooms at night, thanks for that idea!

  3. Thanks for the variety of these suggestions! When lavender is mentioned, people often talk about sleep/relaxing and then stop there. I am a strange one…smelling lavender oil at night or putting a drop on my pillow gives me very vivid active dreams. Not at all peaceful!! I have tested this out on several nights, so my bottle went back in the cabinet as worthless. My one other idea was insect bites, but we moved to an area with very few biting insects. (Not that I’m complaining on that one!) Thanks for some ideas on how to use it in other ways.
