A few years ago I came across a recipe for my own homemade, DIY eye makeup remover! Could it work? I was willing to try it! Besides, I was beginning my journey to a non-toxic beauty cabinet so I figured I had to give it a whirl! Are you starting your own journey? Check out this awesome PDF that we made just for you to help you along the way!
Friends, I LOVE this eye makeup remover. And I mean LOVE! I put a couple drops on a cotton ball and it does a fantastic job at getting ALL of it off. Even mascara. I usually add a few drops of water to another cotton ball when I am done and wipe my eyes with it because I like the feel of that. But, that isn't necessary at all!
There is no need for any chemical eye makeup remover when this simple recipe does a fantastic job! Go ahead, give it a try. Chances are, you have all of the ingredients already!!
- 1 ounce olive oil
- 1 ounce witch hazel
- 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
- 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- Add the olive oil to your 2 ounce container.
- Add the essential oils to the olive oil.
- Add the witch hazel.
- Shake it up before each use.
- Add to a cotton ball and remove your eye makeup!
