Are you looking for an all natural homemade massage oil for romantic evenings in the bedroom? As you know, many commercial products, like lubricants and lotions, can contain unsavory ingredients like synthetic fragrances, pthlates, petroleum products and more.
It can be very easy to make your own and be confident in the quality of the ingredients you are using. We created this PDF to help you either make or replace the toxic products that may be lurking in your medicine cabinet so be sure to check it out!
We like to make our homemade massage oil with all natural coconut oil, Sensation essential oil blend, Peppermint essential oil and Black Pepper essential oil. Occasionally I like to add Lavender essential oil as well. (Coconut oil also makes a nice natural lubricant too!)
Sensation™ is a wonderfully fragrant, powerfully romantic blend that is extremely uplifting and refreshing. It was formulated to enhance the enjoyment of special moments. It is a blend of Coriander, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Jasmine and Geranium.
Black Pepper has a pungent, crisp aroma that is comforting and energizing. It is supportive of the digestive system and is useful topically for soothing muscle discomfort following exercise. I also find it very warming to the skin.
Peppermint invigorates the mind and senses, while inspiring a sense of peace. Used topically, Peppermint oil creates a cool, tingling sensation on the skin.
I use the recipe below as a general guideline. Sometimes I actually like to increase the amounts of peppermint and black pepper. You can feel free to adjust the recipe as you see fit!
I only trust Young Living Essential Oils and use them exclusively in my home.
- 10 drops Sensation Essential Oil Blend
- 6 drops Black Pepper Essential Oil
- 4 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- 4 drops Lavender Essential Oil (optional)
- 2 ounces Coconut Oil

Thank you for the recipe. I just received my bottle of Sensation and I’m excited to use it. My question can this recipe be used on our “private” body areas?
