I started making this shower gel recipe recently when trying to find something that was moisturizing to my skin AND had a nice sudsing feeling. This recipe is great! And, best of all, you can customize it with any essential oils you like for scent and therapeutic benefit!
All you need is liquid castille soap, honey (raw is preferred) and sweet almond oil (or other moisturizing carrier oil). This mixed together with a favorite essential oil (I used Ylang Ylang for my shower gel) and voila!
I love to use this gel with a shower loofah to really get a good suds going. This shower gel followed with my after shower body oil keeps my skin super moisturized! Love it!
Enjoy the recipe and let me know what essential oils you choose to ‘flavor' your shower gel!
