Fermentation is an ancient form of food preservation full of enzymes and probiotics, which can help your digestion and health. Recipes demonstrated include fermented versions of delicious foods such as mixed berries, lemonade, orange juice, pineapple salsa, carrots and sour cream…all healthy foods that will be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Class will include session notes, recipes, and tips and tricks to get your family on board with eating fermented foods. Optional take-home fermentation beginner’s kit includes two wide-mouth, pint-size jars, one food funnel, two packets of starter and three glass weights.
